Situated in the Titanic Quarter, this is one of Belfast’s most popular visitor attractions offering a fascinating glimpse into one of the most iconic events in maritime history.  The attraction is housed in a modern, award-winning building and tells the story of the Titanic, the famous ocean liner that was built in Belfast and sank on its maiden voyage in 1912.  It features interactive exhibits, multimedia displays, and artifacts related to the Titanic’s construction, voyage, and legacy.

Located in the heart of Belfast, the building was completed in 1906 and is widely considered to be one of the most impressive civic buildings in Ireland. It serves as the headquarters of the Belfast City Council and is also a popular tourist attraction.  Featuring a stunning neo-classical design, with a dome that stands over 53 meters tall, the building is home to a number of important artworks, including portraits of the city’s past Lord Mayors.

A popular and free attraction situated on the edge of Belfast’s Botanical Gardens.  The galleries showcase everything from ancient artifacts and fossils to contemporary art and design and include interactive exhibits and multimedia displays appealing to all age groups.  Highlights include the Armada Room, which features items recovered from the wreckage of a Spanish Armada ship and the Discover Art section, which showcases works by Irish and international artists.

Northern Ireland.  The Botanic Gardens are a public park that are home to the Palm House, a stunning glasshouse that was designed by Sir Charles Lanyon and is one of the most iconic buildings in Belfast.  Queen’s University Belfast was founded in 1845 and is one of the oldest universities in the UK.   Visitors to Queen’s University can take a guided tour of the campus, which includes highlights such as the Lanyon Building, the Great Hall, and the Queen’s Welcome Centre. The university is also home to a number of museums and galleries, including the Naughton Gallery and the Ulster Folk and Transport Museum.

A vibrant and historic district located in the heart of Belfast offering a unique blend of history, culture and contemporary urban life.  Renowned for its stunning architecture, lively atmosphere and eclectic mix of bars, restaurants, galleries and shops.  The Cathedral Quarter takes its name from St Anne’s Cathedral, a stunning piece of Gothic Revival architecture that is one of the district’s landmarks.

Northern Ireland’s famous scenic driving route that stretches along the northern coast and the Atlantic Ocean.  Belfast marks the start of the route that winds its way  through picturesque towns and villages, rugged landscapes and stunning coastal scenery.  Some of the main attractions on the route are the Giant’s Causeway, a UNESCO World Heritage site and the Carrick-a-Rede Rope Bridge, a suspension bridge that crosses over a 30-meter deep chasm.

Immerse yourself in the scenic splendour of the Mourne Mountains, an area renowned for its rugged beauty. Hiking enthusiasts can tackle the famous Slieve Donard, the highest peak in Northern Ireland, or choose from a variety of other trails catering to different skill levels.

A walk around the walls in Derry~Londonderry reveals a splendid city crammed full of history, heritage, interest and a vibrant cultural scene. This is the only remaining completely walled city in Ireland and one of the finest examples of Walled Cities in Europe. The Walls were built during the period 1613-1618 by the honourable, the Irish Society as defences for early seventeenth century settlers from England and Scotland. The Walls, which are approximately 1.5km in circumference, form a walkway around the inner city and provide a unique promenade to view the layout of the original town which still preserves its Renaissance Style street plan to this day. The four original gates to the Walled City are Shipquay Gate, Butcher Gate, Bishop’s Gate and Ferryquay Gate.
